Maths and Magic Workshop

Just wanted to say a huge thanks for your brill session at Air Balloon Hill Primary School yesterday.  The kids loved it and spent the afternoon showing their class mates what they had found out.  The head teacher also commented about how good the session was. I especially want to say thank you for the great teacher's pack you put together.  It is much appreciated. I will certainly be recommending you to my colleagues!

Mike's Maths & Magic Workshop is a 90-minute interactive, highly-engaging and thought-provoking maths workshop for 9-11 year olds.

Originally created for the Real Ideas Organisation in March 2011, this workshop uses a combination of mathematical and conjuring principles to ensure that your students have a fascinating time thinking about probability, looking for patterns, calculating ratios and problem solving. All in a fun, super-interactive way!

Mike has also put together a handy Teachers Pack containing a comprehensive lesson plan and all the resources used during the workshop, along with additional ideas for how to build upon the workshop.

When you book a workshop, you'll receive both a hard copy and an electronic copy of this Teachers Pack, which you are free to share with colleagues in your school.

The cost for the 90-minute workshop is £150 for schools within Bristol (discounts are available for multiple shows.)
